About Montavilla

Montavilla is a thriving neighborhood just east of Mount Tabor. (Actually, Montavilla is a contraction of the original platted name, Mt. Tabor Villa Addition.)

Close to Milepost 5, there are restaurants, a library, parks, a community center, bars, and grocery stores. Milepost 5 is also just seven blocks a way from the Montavilla commercial district with, among others, Flying Pie Pizzeria, BiPartisan Cafe and the newly opened Country Cat.

Montavilla was just names one of the next neighborhoods to watch in Portland by Sunset Magazine.
