TJ Norris, Room 222 at The Manor of Art

We were moved by TJ's sensitive formal installation to do a photo series of his room as a formal study of our own. Mr Norris has a keen sense of composition and a thoughtful approach to materials. We look forward to his upcoming curatorial work in Milepost 5, The Lofts where he will be curating and meta-curating the building's extensive exhibit space.

Grid show and Hallways Opening Reception

The Grid

Curated by TJ Norris

This group exhibition including 27 international artists in various media conceptualizing 'the grid'. Selections were made from nearly 60 entries. All works are small-scale (under 12" in all dimensions) to be placed within a wall-based grid. Seen as a way to organize, divide and separate, many artists have forever used a grid system of their choosing to define both ideas and formalities.

Lifestyle Party at Milepost 5

Come check out the lifestyle here at Milepost 5!

Each month, we will be hosting networking parties providing local businesses and artists with opportunities to meet each other and build meaningful and profitable connections. The gatherings will also provide a great opportunity to get an up-close and personal look at what it is like to own/rent a space at Milepost 5, meet other creatives who are living there, and have a great time.

The first Lifestyle Party is scheduled for November 19th from 6:30-9:30 in unit 402.

The parties will be catered with food and drinks, live music, and local art. Tables will be available for all to share whatever networking materials they may have.
